Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Perimeter Control in Denver, CO. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service at a commercial real estate site.

The role is full-time with a steady afternoon/evening schedule and a pay rate of $26.00 per hour. You will communicate with tenants, visitors, and team members while upholding site protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter incidents and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report suspicious activity and maintain daily reports.
• Communicate with property management, tenants, visitors, and emergency personnel per site protocols.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial office property.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and building perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns, and maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and responding emergency personnel while following site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
