Job summary

Allied Universal in Broomfield, CO is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Data Center for an unarmed, full-time role. Monitor access, perform patrols, report incidents, and provide excellent customer service in a technology-driven site.

Requirements include high school diploma; CPR/First Aid and alarm panel experience are preferred. Shift schedule includes multiple evening hours across weekdays, with a late-night Friday/Saturday rotation.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, laboratories, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, maintain required logs, and support Allied Universal and client reporting requirements.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computers or tablets to document observations. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
