Allied Universal in Secaucus, NJ, is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Response to protect clients across industries. You will patrol sites, deter incidents, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service with professional communication.

The role requires responding to incidents, alarms, and emergencies while adhering to security procedures and company policies. A background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen is required, as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, guests, and vendors while following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of media production offices, common areas, studios, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following security procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Response in Secaucus, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic media and technology location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, guests, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of media production offices, common areas, studios, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
