Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Guard Patrol Driver in Santa Clara, CA. You will provide customer service to tenants, residents, visitors, and vendors while conducting routine security procedures at a retail and neighborhood property.

This full-time driving role offers a $24.00 per hour pay rate, with a Mon-Fri schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and opportunities for growth through training and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, residents, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail and neighborhood property location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, storefronts, parking areas, walkways, and property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, helping to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, theft, and other policy violations.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to site management, Allied Universal leadership, and incoming personnel.

As a Security Guard Patrol Driver Badge Verification in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist visitors with professional communication and customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and caring culture while working collaboratively with the site team and acting with integrity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
