Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Compliance in Lockport, IL. You will provide unarmed patrols, assist customers, control access points, and respond to incidents while upholding safety and service standards.

Expect to work a fixed schedule with daily patrol shifts. A valid driver's license, HS diploma, background check, and drug screen are required. Allied Universal offers training, benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building exteriors, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report irregularities or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when required.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
