Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, lobbies, parking facilities, loading areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and direct guests as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Mobility in Lockport, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Fri 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sat 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, lobbies, parking facilities, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures, and assist with directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
