Job summary

Allied Universal in Concord, NC is seeking a Security Guard Patrol Customer Care at Amazon Warehouse. You will serve and safeguard employees, visitors, and deliveries while patrolling, monitoring access, and handling alarm responses.

This is a full-time, on-site role with a pay rate of $18.36 per hour and a focus on delivering excellent customer service, teamwork, and situational awareness to deter security incidents and protect people and property.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and verify credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Document daily activities, incidents, observations, and patrol findings accurately and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as required, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document daily activities, incidents, observations, and patrol findings accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
