Job summary

Allied Universal’s Security Officer Patrol role in New Concord, OH involves safeguarding clients across logistics and distribution sites. Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in New Concord, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and use technology to document security-related activity. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, loading and shipping areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe personnel and vehicle activity, and assist with visitor, driver, and delivery check-in procedures as directed by site policies.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
