Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Support in Huntersville, NC at Amazon Warehouse. You will patrol, deter incidents, support access control, and provide excellent service while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug testing may be required by law.
• Must be able to use a computer or tablet and handle basic security tech.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused site.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas and access points.
• Monitor access points and support visitor and contractor entry procedures with logs and incident docs.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Support in Huntersville, NC at Amazon Warehouse, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms and routine concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
