Qualifications

• Must be 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed) with proper licensing.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A background check and drug screen will be conducted as per law.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
