Job summary

Allied Universal in Katy, TX is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to patrol client sites, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service. A visible presence helps protect employees, visitors, and property.

You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, document activity, and assist with emergencies in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Pay is $17.17/hour with evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel and emergency services.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with location requirements.

What You'll Do:
