Job summary

Allied Universal® in Katy, TX is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Risk Reduction to safeguard clients across industries, including Tech/Media/Telecom, with a flexible schedule and a Shift-Claim platform to pick up extra hours.

You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism, delivering outstanding service and clear communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology-focused facilities, including business areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, policy concerns, and/or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Pay Rate: $17.17 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM


• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
