Allied Universal in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Guest Assistance. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents and support tenants and visitors.

This role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and using tablet or computer systems to document observations and reports as part of our agile security team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Qualified applications with criminal histories will be considered as allowed by law.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and document observations; communicate with site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking facilities and perimeters; report issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures to maintain order.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports and shift handoffs.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, property concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for tenants and visitors.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
