Responsibilities

• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and per site protocols.
• Document patrol activities and incidents with accurate reports; communicate with site contacts and leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with personnel and visitors while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that delivers through teamwork and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of aerospace and defense facilities, including building interiors, exterior areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations through accurate reports and maintain professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
