Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Clinton, MS to safeguard employees, visitors, and facility assets at an automotive manufacturing site. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws; valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Help maintain an orderly environment by observing and reporting security-related concerns, following post orders, and supporting Allied Universal and site policies.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Preferred: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Preferred: Access control and badge experience.
• Preferred: Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
