Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Alarm Panel Patrol in Pedricktown, NJ. The role offers fixed shifts with optional extra shifts via a scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $20.25 per hour with a schedule of DayTime Sun 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM. The position is designed for part‑time employment with flexibility and opportunities to build toward a full‑time schedule up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including loading areas, parking areas, entry points, trailer yards, and perimeter areas, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations as required.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access concerns, and/or potential hazards to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Alarm Panel Patrol in Pedricktown, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun04:00 PM - 08:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
