Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Trenton, NJ to patrol healthcare facilities, deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and other guests while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances and critical situations calmly and follow site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol activities and other security-related observations accurately and promptly.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and other security-related observations accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security license, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
