You will provide courteous service, monitor activity, and help address security-related concerns while working a part-time schedule that offers flexibility and opportunities to explore additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Manage front desk activities, greet visitors, verify access, and maintain visitor records.
• Monitor entry points and reception activity, reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally.
• Communicate with clients, visitors, employees, and Allied Universal leadership regarding site concerns.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Manage front desk activities, including greeting and directing visitors, verifying access authorization, and maintaining visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry points, reception-area activity, and applicable systems, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and Allied Universal leadership regarding site-related concerns and requests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
