Responsibilities

• Respond to guest concerns and incidents in a calm, professional manner, coordinating with hotel management and emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking facilities, and back-of-house locations.
• Monitor access points and observe hotel activity, reporting suspicious conditions and incidents.
• Complete accurate activity logs and shift communications while maintaining a welcoming presence.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier hotel location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist guests, visitors, and staff with professionalism. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hotel management and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, hotel entrances, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and back-of-house locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe hotel activity, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence in a hospitality-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
