You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $40.95 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM; Tue 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, verify credentials when required, and report access-control concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and client contacts as needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while providing a professional presence in a dynamic technology and media environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
