Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Loxahatchee, FL to protect residents and guests at a residential community. You will monitor entry points, verify access, log visitors, and respond to incidents with professionalism, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.

This role emphasizes strong customer service, reliable patrols, and adherence to site policies, with flexible weekend hours and opportunities to grow within a large security and facility services

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Background investigation and drug screen required where permitted by law.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and documenting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain professional communication with residents and site personnel while supporting a welcoming, controlled residential environment.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
