Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard Dispatch Communications professional in Newark, DE. You will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and assist with incident documentation for a financial institution site, while delivering strong customer service and a welcoming atmosphere.

This role offers part-time hours, with a fixed weekday evening schedule and a pay rate of $20.00 per hour, including opportunities to grow within Allied Universal's flexible shift platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants may be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories where permitted by law.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents and maintain calm, clear communication with staff and responders.
• Document dispatch activity, incidents, and communications in logs and systems.
• Deter unauthorized activity by monitoring access-related communications and reporting unusual conditions.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, and other communications; dispatch appropriate personnel and/or resources according to site-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining clear communication with onsite personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Document dispatch activity, incidents, and communications accurately in required logs and reporting systems.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by monitoring access-related communications and reporting unusual conditions according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
