What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.


• Monitor and control access points for a logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vehicle entries, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.


• Assist with maintaining accurate access logs, delivery and trailer activity records, and other security-related documentation in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established communication channels.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
