Qualifications

• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and media personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, production spaces, common areas, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and document observations and incidents in reports.
• Maintain professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership to support a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and media personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a fast-paced media and publishing location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, production spaces, common areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports.
• Maintain professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming environment for authorized occupants and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
