Allied Universal in New York, NY is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Patrol Field Support. You will monitor and protect client sites across industries, delivering strong customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and media industry guests by carrying out site-specific security procedures and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, escalating concerns per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, production spaces, common areas, loading docks, parking locations, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and direct guests as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in line with policies.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and media industry guests by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, production spaces, common areas, loading docks, parking locations, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and assist with directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
