Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Guard in Davenport, IA. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and help maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, escalating access concerns or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and completing required reports.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
