Job summary

Armorous is seeking a Security Officer for HOA neighborhoods with a patrol vehicle. You will safeguard properties, deter crime, and protect residents and businesses through hourly patrols and vigilant response.

Shifts include Friday 9:00 PM–5:00 AM and Saturday 9:00 PM–5:00 PM. 16 hours per week guaranteed with potential for extra hours. Pay is $21.00 per hour. A BSIS Guard Card and related certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
• Current BSIS compliance including 8-hour initial training and 32-hour CE certificates.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate company/site vehicles safely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.

Position/Titles:

• Security Officer for HOA Neighborhood with Patrol Vehicle

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc.
Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers will do hourly patrols through out the neighborhood, ensure there are no trespassers, and prevent any misconduct on site. Continuous responses to community members when needed, and clearing of park premises after hours.

Shifts:

Friday - - - 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Saturday - - - 9:00 PM - 5:00 PM
16 Hours per week guaranteed, plus opportunity for additional hours!

Compensation:

$21.00 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:

Security Guard Qualifications:

• Clean driving record and ability to operate company/site vehicles safely.
• Experience working graveyard shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
