Allied Universal in Stamford, CT is seeking an Overnight Security Guard to protect client properties and provide excellent service to tenants and visitors. This full-time role covers night shifts with a strong emphasis on safety, visibility, and incident reporting.

You will conduct patrols, monitor access, respond to alarms, and collaborate with site leadership to maintain a secure, welcoming environment for occupants and guests.

Formación

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior, exterior, parking areas, garages, loading areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report unauthorized access or unusual conditions.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports for Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Guard Overnight Monitoringin Stamford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and building staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, garages, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
