Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants may be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials according to site procedures; report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and follow escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and conditions accurately and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
