Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Guard for full-time overnight Corporate Patrol in New York, NY. You will patrol and monitor a commercial real estate site, deter incidents, and provide top-notch customer service to tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, controlling access, documenting actions, and maintaining professional presence. Applicants must meet NY licensing, age, and background requirements for security positions.

Formación

• Must possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Overnight Corporate Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns. Pay Rate: $19.06 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment for occupants and visitors; communicate clearly with Allied Universal supervision, property personnel, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
