Allied Universal is hosting an on-site security officer hiring event in Waterloo, IA. The event offers opportunities for Part Time, Full Time, and FLEX security officers. Attendees should be prepared to interview on the spot and bring a printed resume.

Allied Universal® is hiring for multiple Security Guard positions. The Security Guard will conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior) in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, including production spaces, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity at the location.
• Support daily operations by observing workplace conditions, reporting hazards, and/or assisting with orderly responses to disruptions, deliveries, or visitor-related matters.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 19+ years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
