Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Peru, IL. This full-time role involves guarding clients across manufacturing and industrial sites, patrolling, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will need a valid driver’s license, be 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed), and hold a high school diploma; background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas and facility perimeter.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify authorized access and document activity.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports and shift documentation.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
