Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Peru, IL to safeguard clients across multiple industries. In this driving role, you will monitor and patrol sites, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service while following site procedures.

Day and night shifts are available with a competitive pay rate. A valid driver’s license, must be 18 or older, and a high school diploma are required, along with a background check.

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Peru, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
