Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Guard Manufacturing Patrol in Denver, CO to serve and safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites.

You will conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access points, provide excellent customer service, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible presence and adhering to site procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• A guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, and perimeters to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document entries and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate responders.
• Report security-related concerns and policy violations to leadership and site personnel.

Pay Rate: $20.07 / Hour

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate entry, exit, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Report security-related concerns, damaged property, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
