Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, loading docks, parking areas, and exterior perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs and reports of daily activities.
• Observe areas for security concerns, report hazards, and assist with evacuations as directed.

Security Officer Patrol in Marion, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control and badge procedures, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $15.23 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, loading docks, parking areas, administrative spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and unusual occurrences.
• Observe operational areas for security-related concerns, report hazards or maintenance issues to site contacts, and assist with emergency evacuations and response procedures as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
