Comunilife is looking for experienced Security Guards for our Congregate program in the Manhattan congregate HRA Gramercy Residential Program. The Security Guard is responsible for the safety, security, and support of the Residence staff and clients living with mental illness. The overall job summary includes ensuring safety of the staff’s working conditions, safety of the residents, and protecting the Program facility. Required to cover nights and weekends, as needed. Other responsibilities include working harmoniously with Program staff in accordance with Comunilife principles and guidelines. Reports to the Clinical Supervisor, Assistant Program Director and Program Director. This position is eligible for Comunilife's generous benefits and paid off package.
Education and Experience Requirement(s):
8 and 16 hour Security Guard Training Certificate; New York State Security Guard License to be obtained within 6 months of employment.
