Job summary

Allied Universal in Milton, MA is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard Hospital Response Patrol to serve patients, visitors and staff in a healthcare setting. You will patrol, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm, professional service.

In this role you will provide customer service, maintain a visible presence, complete clear reports, and comply with vaccination and background check requirements.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, a drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify hospital personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with hospital staff, patients, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas; report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with hospital staff, patients, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
