Job Description

As a Security Guard Healthcare Facilityin Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor alarm systems, and assist employees, customers, and visitors with professionalism. You will document observations, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $22.46 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial services location, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with authorized entry procedures and reporting unusual activity to site leadership.


• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal management and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.


• Alarm panel experience is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
