Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Technology in Houston, TX. You will safeguard clients across commercial real estate and nearby facilities, patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access control while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking, exterior grounds, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and document incidents and maintenance concerns.
• Communicate professionally with property personnel, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Technology in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, documenting incidents, unusual conditions, and maintenance-related concerns in required reports.
• Communicate professionally with property personnel, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders while following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
