Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Response in Jacksonville, FL. You will safeguard clients and provide exceptional customer service while patrolling and monitoring assigned areas.

As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution, you will deter incidents, report in accordance with procedures, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Must be 18+ years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: $17.86 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in a financial institution location, following established entry, identification, and reporting procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
