This part-time role offers a $19.00 per hour pay rate, with DayTime and Weekend shifts. You will perform patrols, respond to alarms, document activities, and comply with licensing and client policies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Armed licensing requirements must be met per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, members, and visitors while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of financial institution facilities, parking areas, and entrances.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, reporting unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and professionally while following site procedures.
• Carry equipment in accordance with policy and complete accurate incident reports.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, members, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of financial institution facilities, parking areas, ATM areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable licensing and firearm regulations, and complete accurate activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
