• Background check as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and tenant concerns in a calm, professional manner and inform site contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, common areas, parking, exterior grounds, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized access and policy violations.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation on incidents and patrols.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Marina Del Rey, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, guests, and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a reliable, caring team culture built on integrity, innovation, and teamwork at Allied Universal.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, helping to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding incidents, patrols, and unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
