Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Presence in Los Angeles, CA. You will monitor and protect customers, tenants, and visitors at a commercial property and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires 6 months of security-related experience, a HS diploma or equivalent, and compliance with background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of common areas, parking, entrances and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and professionally per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report suspicious activity or damage to management.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents and observations.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Presence in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with integrity and professionalism while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report suspicious activity, hazards, property damage, and/or policy violations to site management or Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
