Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Security Officer (Unarmed) for a Guest Assistance Patrol. This full-time role follows a 4:00 PM–12:00 AM schedule, with a pay rate of $16.73 per hour.

You will provide customer service, perform routine patrols, monitor access, and support a welcoming, secure environment. Ideal candidates are 18+ for unarmed work, possess a HS diploma, and are able to undergo a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with badge verification, visitor sign-in, and direction to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
