Allied Universal in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Weekdays. You will serve and safeguard clients across multiple industries, delivering excellent customer service while patrolling, monitoring access points, and using technology to document observations.

The role requires daytime shifts and a high school diploma with background checks; guard-card holders and those with prior customer service are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Weekdays in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while using technology to document observations and assist visitors and employees. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology facilities, office areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in clear, accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
