Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Weekdays Overnight in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service while using technology to document activities. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the technology-focused facility, including interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional presence.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
