Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmedin Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm and access control systems, and provide outstanding customer service. Use your communication skills and comfort with technology to support a welcoming environment while working with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, innovative culture.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying designated contacts as required.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a positive workplace environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
