Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access and verify visitor/contractor credentials per site procedures; document visits and incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies and notify site contacts and responders as needed.
• Observe, report maintenance issues and policy violations; prepare clear timely reports.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Weekdays Patrol in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using technology to document activity and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials according to site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
• Observe and report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and policy violations, completing clear and timely reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
