This full-time role requires a high school diploma, background screening, and state licensing as needed. Pay is $16.50 per hour with a night shift schedule across multiple days.

• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and complete reports.
• Observe loading/shipping operations and report hazards or policy concerns to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Daytona Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe loading and shipping operations and report damaged barriers, unsecured doors, hazardous conditions, or policy concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
