Responsibilities

• Conduct regular or random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Document incidents and daily activities accurately according to site reporting requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
